Dr Holger Eichler

Dr Eichler joined St Stephen’s Medical Imaging in Hervey Bay, Australia in September 2014, and has since been a resident Radiologist for St Stephen‘s Medical Imaging in Hervey Bay and Maryborough.

Dr Eichler graduated from the Medical School at the University of Bonn in Germany 1987. He trained as a Radiologist at the University Hospital Bonn, a Community Hospital and Private Imaging Centre and graduated in 1995. He also trained in Nuclear Medicine at the Central Army Hospital in Koblenz, Germany and graduated in 2005. He holds both accreditations in Germany and the UK.

In his former career he was Deputy Consultant in the Central Army Hospital in Koblenz and also worked in the private sector in Germany. In the UK he worked as a locum consultant for Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and for the Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Trust.

Dr Eichler has broad interest and experience in image analysis in various modalities. Dr Eichler's broad spectrum of radiological experience, gained from various clinical roles in hospitals and the private sector, makes him well placed to lead the clinical team at St Stephen‘s Medical Imaging.

Dr Duncan Walker - MBBS, MRCP (UK), FRCR, FRANZCR

Dr Walker is a sub-specialist interventional radiologist with particular interests in musculoskeletal intervention and interventional oncology. Dr Walker also has a particular interest in musculoskeletal and body MRI along with musculoskeletal ultrasound.

A UK medical graduate, Dr Walker completed his radiology training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London and an MRI fellowship at Southampton prior to relocating to Australia in 1994 to take up a staff radiologist appointment at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Dr Walker joined what is now Standrew Imaging in 2000 and along with his colleagues provides a comprehensive subspecialist interventional service for outpatients and hospital inpatients.

Dr Christine Campbell

Dr Christine Campbell is a radiologist with sub-specialty training in Nuclear Medicine and PET and is the head of the Nuclear Medicine service at St Stephen’s Medical Imaging. Dr Campbell has been providing Nuclear Medicine and general diagnostic radiology services in the region for since 2004, previously at St Stephen’s Hospital in Maryborough and now at St Stephen’s Hospital in Hervey Bay. In addition to Dr Campbell’s work in the Fraser Coast, she is vastly experienced in regional Queensland having worked for many years as a partner in Central Queensland Medical Imaging, covering Rockhampton, Gladstone, Emerald, Yeppoon and Bundaberg.

Dr Campbell is a graduate of the University of Queensland and is also a member of the Australia and New Zealand Association of Nuclear Physicians and an accredited PET specialist. Dr Campbell is currently a board member and Director of Nuclear Medicine, North Brisbane for the I-Med Network, QLD.

In addition to Nuclear Medicine, Dr Campbell has sub-specialty interests in Women’s Imaging and Emergency Radiology.
